Job Description Aon is looking for a Compliance Technology Senior Consultant.

The Compliance Technology Senior Consultant role is critical for the success of Stroz Friedberg's Compliance Technology practice as we seek to expand this practice in response to growing client needs. This consultant should be able to contribute expertise and strong execution skills.

The consultant will be responsible for participating in compliance technology engagements with an initial focus on anti-money laundering (AML) and sanctions-related work. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional capabilities as a subject matter expert and team member, team leader and mentor, and successful manager of AML/sanctions consulting engagements. The consultant must be able to draw on a range of quantitative and qualitative consulting skills:

  • Ability to develop and execute on an assessment plan that will test a system's capabilities and the accuracy and integrity of the data;
  • Expertise in querying large data sets, using database programs, programming languages, and statistical techniques;
  • Facility in conducting interviews of bank representatives from diverse backgrounds, including senior business and compliance executives as well as technical staff; and
  • Ability to prepare well-reasoned and clear reports of findings.

The ideal candidate will bring experience from a top tier consulting firm, a relevant financial services firm or regulatory environment.

Moreover, the candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Strong reputation and credibility among peers as a professional who is respected for his/her intelligence and expertise.
  • Strong execution skills by understanding the AML/sanction consulting business.
  • Unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character, demonstrating high moral and ethical behavior.
  • An extremely high level of energy, sense of urgency, creativity and decisiveness, coupled with the ability/willingness to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to make complex decisions and solve tough problems using multiple problem-solving tools and techniques.
  • 2+ years industry experience with compliance technology systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client presentations.
  • Self-starter with a strong track record of establishing credibility in the field.
Work/Education Preferred

An appropriate BA or BS degree is required, as well as industry certifications and association memberships
