Sets product sales, marketing and delivery strategy in the region. Responsible for Insurance product line P&L Accountable for product profitability, quality and vendor performance in support of the product. Ensures the successful sales and implementation and on-going delivery of insurance programs for Cardholder Solutions on a local basis with global and regional vendors. Ensures the swift resolution of all issues related to the delivery of CS insurance services. Major Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy Drives vision for enhancing and expanding existing product capabilities to meet existing demand, and further differentiate product lines to create opportunities in the market place. Collaborates and teams with the rest of Core Products / Emerging Payments to ensure that CS capability is embedded in Go to Market initiatives, within the region. Leads the integration and implementation of product and service enhancements in the region, effectively aligning capabilities to ensure smooth execution. Drive commercialization of product across entire Europe region. Leads process reviews and re-design across the product line and manages the communication and distribution across all stakeholders. Share best practice and innovative thinking across CS and MasterCard, globally. Sales/Marketing Enable brand recognition in the market through engagement with industry experts (speaking and written), conferences and key strategic customer partnerships. Builds technical and market expertise to ensure existing products and new capabilities effectively address customer needs Initiates and directs qualitative and quantitative market research to validate trends and competitive opportunities, within the region. Responsible for the development of internal and external material for promotion of products to drive incremental sales Operational Monitor measure and report on the performance of insurance product line in terms of quality and profitability. This includes product SLA definitions. Support Account Management/Sales as well as Regional Management requests to review customization of existing Products to support a specific request. Reviews vendors performance and ensures quality delivery of products or services. Monitors expenses against budget; assists with development of P&L for services provided by service providers Ensures compliance with all regulatory procedures, information security requirements and contract policies, within region. Identifies potential best in class business partner and vendors and leads the negotiation of appropriate contracts. Ensures the effective development and execution of project plans that are created in collaboration with internal CS personnel, regional stakeholders, vendors and the issuers. Drives process to ensure the appropriate review and sign-off of all project deliverables by internal and external stakeholders Accountable for ensuring that all projects are implemented in accordance with CS implementation standard Ensures team effectively collaborates with all internal and external stakeholders to quickly manage the resolution of implementation risks and issues and appropriately escalates as needed Financial Drive profitable growth of insurance products through revenue expansion and cost control. Formulates regional budgets and pro-forma P&Ls and sensitivity analyses, identifying success criteria for products and enhancements. Drives financial business case development for guiding the evolution of CS products and services. Accountable for monitoring local vendor expenses to ensure alignment with regional budgets. Assists with development of P&L and pricing for services provided by service providers Directs team to work with local service providers to identify ways to increase efficiencies and reduce expenses of local services provided Holds self and team accountable for meeting key metrics such as revenue, net income, recurring business and delivery excellence. Human Resources Ensures effective on-boarding of new team members. Resolves performance challenges and addresses employee performance issues. Works to enhance the capability of the organization by getting the best out of people through performance management, talent assessment, individual development planning and coaching and mentoring. Differentiates, acknowledges and reinforces outstanding performance efforts and rewards high-performing employees. Education Experience/Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required Extensive experience in Account Management, Sales, Product Development, Product Management Insurance industry experience is desired Credit Card or Financial Services experience preferred Experience in design of customer service programs across multiple channels highly preferred Experience with MS Project and Excel and PowerPoint. Functional Skills Required: Strong relationship and communication skills are necessary to collaborate with regional and vendor partner relationships, and product owners across MasterCard to drive results Demonstrated general management skills and experience including vendor management, technology development, and customer service management Ability to work on projects and recommendations that are global in scale and while supporting local needs Reengineering experience is desirable given the need to continually improve the programs' economics and quality A passion for the customers with demonstrated experience with Voice of customer, benchmarking and analysis Excellent analytical skills are essential to analyze Cardholder Experience research data to formulate improvement recommendations Analyzes problems & develops recommended solutions Effective collaboration and cross functional partnering Project Management | Region/Country: | Europe, UK, England | City: | London | Address: | Post Date: | 01/28/2013 |
