In particular develop analysis tools in relation to risk events to improve data quality and provide meaningful loss analysis to the business to assist in the application of the rest of the Op Risk Framework. This will include providing support with Operational Risk change projects and supporting wider central operational risk team priorities. Monitoring data quality in OPUS, in particular in relation to risk events and provide analysis to challenge this data. Supporting the Operational Risk capital process with particular focus on having specific understanding of the statistical processes used in the Group modelling process. Understand and interpret Barclays Group Operational Risk Policy, and update local Operational Risk processes to ensure compliance with Group Policies. Provide support to Risk Partnership to ensure local processes are understood and embedded across Barclaycard. Build effective relationships with SBU/SSU Risk teams, GOR & RBB. What you will need? You will need the risk management tools, knowledge and understanding to carry out this role effectively. Expert skills in Excel reporting and use of macros, the understanding of basic statistical methods (e.g. distributions (piosson, monte carlo simulations) A knowledge of governance methods and monitoring is essential, alongside strong project management skills, including facilitation and negotiation.
