Role is based in LondonPosition Purpose: To provide systems support, enhancement, reporting and training services for: The core Front Office, Management Information and Business Intelligence reporting systems used in Global Markets, and the core Back Office systems used in Financial Markets Operations. Work of the role: -
Provide subject matter expertise in reporting system processes and systems, and develop expertise in systems and processes used to support the trading, management and distribution of Global Markets products. -
Provision of support, reporting and training services to Financial Markets and Financial Markets Operations for nominated systems. Systems include (but are not limited to) Global Trader, Bloomberg, FX Portals, Velocity, Baxter, FX Orderwatch, FXConnect, Margin Man, MIDAS, ORF Plus, Euroclear, DocDolittle, BART, pControl, Deal Tracker, RTCD, Smartstream and TRAM -
Maintain first and second level business support of nominated applications -
Maintain a close working relationship with internal/external suppliers and service providers to ensure resolution of technical issues. -
Liaison with all technical third parties -
Provide routine application maintenance and assist with advanced configuration work -
Provide test plans and systems testing for upgrades -
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (ie Basel II, SOX) and completion of regular audits. Essential skills and experience: Essential: - Thorough knowledge of Financial Markets products
- Degree level qualified (in technology/finance or related field)
- Experience (1-2 years) in application support in a Financial Markets or similar environment
Desirable: - Prior experience in testing & implementation of new products/systems/reports
- Experience in the workings of financial markets pricing and trading highly desirable.
- Technical knowledge across major front and/or back office systems
- Process mapping and documentation
- Analytical and problem solving experience
- ITIL or AFMA certification
