Senior Risk Analyst (6 Month Contract) Job Details

Reporting to the Manager, Risk Reporting, this role will see you contributing to the development and implementation of solutions for Risk Management's integrated risk (and value) based reporting and analysis. This will require you to be responsible for the development of solutions for reporting to internal and external stakeholders that include senior management, the Board, Regulators, Ratings Agencies and the market as well as other business partners and customers of Risk Management.

A key accountability will be the creation and maintenance of a structured and disciplined approach to reporting and will additionally engage stakeholders, scope, analyse and manage various risk reporting projects to completion.

Inherent requirements

• Previous experience in financial services with particular experience in risk-based analysis & reporting and the Basel II Framework
• An academic background in business related field such as finance/commerce/credit risk management
• Experience with banking, investment and financial market products
• An understanding of risk concepts and processes for the development of risk-based reporting systems
• Advanced computer skills particularly in productivity and database/information toolsets (Access, Excel, SQL, SAS)
• Project management, partnership/relationship building and prioritisation skills
• Maintenance of a satisfactory control and compliance environment with full self-assessment processes and quality assurance functions
