| Employer: | Capital One | Job Ref No: | 2083102948 | Job Title: | Principal Operations Analyst (USA) Job | Sector: | Other | Sub Sector: | Other | Risk Type: | Other | Expertise: | Risk Manager | Description Principal Operations Analyst Principal Operations Analyst position with Capital One, National Association in Plano, TX; Multiple positions available: - Design, develop, and evaluate process flows, target productivity levels and staffing options for managing mortgage servicing operations. - Forecast workload levels for customer service, collections and back-office mortgage servicing operations, and apply statistical methods to determine operational processes, staff requirements, and workload standards. - Develop operational methods, resource utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficiency. - Analyze financial and economic data for operations to support creation of associated budgets for operations. - Create and develop models, processes and documentation involved in long term capacity planning for the mortgage servicing business. - Communicate with internal constituents to develop operational standards and recommend methods for improving utilization of resources. - Utilize Excel and PowerPoint to present capacity plans to senior management, including recommendations for staffing and strategies to meet the forecasted workload. - Lead and assist in operations research and process improvement activities, including time studies, process re-engineering, incentive programs, reporting packages and cost - benefit studies. Qualifications The position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, Engineering, or related analytical field, and the following skill set, as evidenced by experience or graduate-level coursework: analysis of financial and economic data for operations; operations research; process improvement; forecasting; and Excel. Must pass company's analytical assessment.
