Position Description The Sr. Manager, Credit Review (Central Services) is responsible for data analysis in support of Credit Review testing; quality assurance testing of the Credit Review methodology with an emphasis on the Retail Credit Review; Credit Review reporting on material trends and risks; assisting with the production and delivery of key Credit Review reporting, contributing to the Credit Review IT strategy and implementation; support for executive and departmental presentations and special events. Duties include: - Perform data analysis for credit control testing, risk assessments, and targeted reviews. Provide effective testing results. - Performing quality assurance testing, analysis and reporting of Retail Credit Review Quarterly Monitoring, Governance Reviews, Targeted Reviews, Credit Controls Testing, Credit Model Testing, Issue Management and Allowance Reviews. - Assisting or performing quality assurance testing of Commercial Credit Review Reports, Samples Plans, Business Risk Profiles, Cyence Data Integrity, Risk Rating Administration and obligor worksheets. - Preparing or contributing to the Risk Management Executive Dashboard report, and Top Risks report - Providing data for and assisting with the preparation of key reports such as Audit & Risk Committee, Commercial Credit Review, and other Commercial Credit Review coverage reporting - Effectively identifying and understanding changes in the internal and external risk environment, and suggesting modifications to credit review methodology and procedures, as appropriate - Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with Credit Review staff, Credit Risk Management, IT, and external parties, as appropriate. - Effectively representing Credit Review on project teams and at management meetings, and presenting and reporting to senior management, as needed - Pursuing professional development opportunities, including internal and external training and sharing information gained with team members. - Performing other related work as assigned by the Senior Director, Central Services Qualifications - Bachelors Degree - Five or more years of full-time experience in credit review, risk management, financial analysis, compliance or other related field - At least 2 years financial services experience Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree - High proficiency in data analysis, problem solving and conceptual thinking - SAS, SQL, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) Experience - CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (Financial Risk Management) - Candidates with strong consumer credit, operational and enterprise risk management experience preferred - 5 Years experience in quantitative analysis, including improving accuracy and transparency of various financial and credit scoring models, including customer level profitability model, capital allocation model, and loss forecasting models Qualifications Qualifications - Bachelors Degree - Five or more years of full-time experience in credit review, risk management, financial analysis, compliance or other related field - At least 2 years financial services experience Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree - High proficiency in data analysis, problem solving and conceptual thinking - SAS, SQL, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) Experience - CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (Financial Risk Management) - Candidates with strong consumer credit, operational and enterprise risk management experience preferred - 5 Years experience in quantitative analysis, including improving accuracy and transparency of various financial and credit scoring models, including customer level profitability model, capital allocation model, and loss forecasting models Job: Audit, Risk Management and Security Primary Location: United States-Virginia-McLean-Northern VA-McLean Campus (19050) Schedule: Full-time Travel: Yes, 10 % of the Time Job Posting: Unposting Date: | Employment Type: | Full Time | Region/Country: | Americas, United States | States/Counties: | Virginia | City: | Mclean | Address: | Post Date: | 02/10/2012 |
