Description
We are looking for a communications professional who works well in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple projects and is a self-starter.
This associate will be one of the Corporate Communications team members and a key point of contact for our internal customers who want to use corporate news channels to deliver their messages. The Senior Communications Associate will manage all of the internal communications channels for the Canadian business, while developing plans for new and enhanced channels strategies.

Responsibilities Include:

- Manage all of the internal communications channels for Capital One's Canadian business including web, print, video and email and make strategies and recommendations for new and enhanced channels
- Partner with Channels Managers from other communications teams across the company to ensure proper alignment and sharing of information.
- Execute the strategy and concept for Canadian internal web portal and sub-sites
- Partner with Communications leads to ensure content is fresh
- Editorial Process / Calendar: Assist in overall editorial process for the Canadian business to ensure we are maximizing our channels and timing of messages
- Metrics: Continue to embed metrics in all channels and act on feedback we receive from the organization

Qualifications
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree (English, Communications or Journalism concentrations)
- 5 years experience in consultation on internal communications needs for complex organizations/multi-faceted campaign development required
- Financial services experience
- Excellent writing and editing skills

- French is an asset
- Experience with communications support for customer-facing industry, preferably a large banking institution
- Must be able to work with all levels of management, including executive leadership
- HTML and video production skills a plus, but not required
- Strong judgment, leadership, and integrity
- Strategic thinker, excellent problem-solver, highly motivated, proactive, flexible and results-oriented
