This position is for a Senior Compliance Analyst within the independent Compliance team supporting the Real Estate Lending business. The candidate will report to the Sr. Compliance Officer over default servicing. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of loss mitigation and loan modification programs as well as a strong working knowledge of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. A strong working knowledge of the Home Affordable Modification programs is necessary. The candidate must possess good communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: monitoring loss mitigation activities for compliance with Treasury Guidelines and Investor requirements using MIS reports, monitoring and tracking results from testing performed by other departments, completing process walkthroughs, and performing ad-hoc or targeted reviews when necessary; Identification of compliance risk/concerns and communicating those concerns to the Compliance Officer and escalating as appropriate to management; Provide support and assistance to UAT testing teams to validate project implementation meets compliance requirements and mitigates risk to the company. The position will also provide support to other Compliance areas within the Real Estate Lending business as required by Compliance Management.- Good working knowledge of the mortgage collection process and loss mitigation programs
