This position is for a Senior Compliance Analyst within the independent Compliance team supporting the Real Estate Lending business. The candidate will report to the Sr. Compliance Officer over default servicing. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of collection life cycle from early default through account closure. A strong working knowledge of FFIEC guidance and property preservation is a plus. The candidate must possess good communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: monitoring collection and loss activities for compliance with federal regulations and state collection laws using MIS reports, monitoring and tracking results from testing performed by other departments, completing process walkthroughs, and performing ad-hoc or targeted reviews when necessary; Identification of compliance risk/concerns and communicating those concerns to the Compliance Officer and escalating as appropriate to management; Provide support and assistance to UAT testing teams to validate project implementation meets compliance requirements and mitigates risk to the company. The position will also provide support to other Compliance areas within the Real Estate Lending business as required by Compliance Management.- Strong working knowledge of the mortgage default servicing processes
