Job Purpose:To assist the Operational Control Manager to establish and then maintain and operate the control framework over the Glasgow Operations teams, part of Citi OpenWealth (Wrap administration). Job background/ context:The Operational Control team is separate from the operational process. The primary role of the team is to monitor that Operations are compliant with all Citi corporate policies, such as information security, fraud management and risk and control self assessment. The team coordinates internal and external audits and reviews, including the Service Organisations Control report process. The team works closely with other Citi functions (for example Risk Management and Compliance). The Glasgow offices are a new addition to the Citi OpenWealth franchise, having been acquired from Scottish Friendly with effect from 1st January 2012. The Operations team offer Wrap administration services to large corporate clients. The office will be rolling out a Transfer Agency service during 2012. Part of the integration of the business into Citi is the implementation of required corporate policies and the on-going maintenance and assessment of the control framework. Key responsibilities: - To work with the Operational Control Manager to implement applicable Citi corporate policies across the Glasgow business
- To help establish the control framework over the business
- These tasks will be wide ranging and will primarily include assisting with the following:
- Compliance with information security standards
- Implementation of a risk and control self assessment process
- Implementation of a formalized breach/error incident corrective and preventative action plan process
- Compliance with records management policy
- Implementation of a fraud management program
- Maintain the Operational Control implementation project plan
- Assist with the reporting of progress on the control framework implementation
- To communicate the on-going control requirements to the Operations teams and to monitor through to timely completion
- To assist in establishing regular controls communication forum
- To become the designated business information security officer for the Glasgow offices - the Information Security Officer is responsible for implementing Citi's information security program at a local level to ensure the protection of the information assets of Citi and its clients from potential loss, damage or theft
- To build a schedule of all audits for the year
- To assist with the co-ordination of all internal and external audits
- To assist in the delivery of any controls specific training to the Operations teams which may be required to facilitate the implementation of corporate policies and on-going controls requirements

Knowledge/ experience:Essential: Previous experience in Wrap administration and/or transfer agency Desirable: Previous controls experience Skills: - Wrap administration knowledge
