The GTRS Delivery Governance team is responsible for providing delivery governance and oversight to the India based supplier engagements and ensuring that the delivery of software and services from our suppliers meets our expectations. This senior role will be responsible for a portfolio of engagements at multiple suppliers and will work to ensure that the engagements are operating with the right governance model that measures and rewards excellent performance of our supplier teams and helps to continuously improve that over time. Job Background/context: (Where the position sits within the department/organization) This position will report directly to the India Country Head for GTRS and will matrix report to one of the sector leads within the GTRS organization. Key Responsibilities: Vice President responsible for Delivery Governance. Responsibilities will include: - Work with peer Delivery Governance resources and the India Head of Delivery Governance to enshrine best practises across our suppliers and raise the bar to improve delivery. - Proactively monitor performance and staffing of supplier project teams. Identify early indicators of issues in attrition, staffing or engagement governance model and take actions to address them before they affect project delivery - Ensure clear communication and alignment between supplier teams and global teams on project priorities, risks and issues relating to resourcing, attrition etc - Work with partners to identify key, critical members of supplier project teams and work with global management teams to limit effects of attrition on project delivery and continuity - Work with sector leads, relationship managers and project teams to mature the engagement model and implement key metrics, performance indicators and provide feedback to Citi and suppliers on resultant analysis - Review supplier performance and provide qualitative and quantitative MIS on supplier performance - Provide status reports, engagement reports and local intelligence to Citi senior management on a regular basis. - Help GTRS global teams to transition work to India where required - Mentor project SME teams co-located with suppliers on a proactive basis and help them to get the best value from the supplier project teams. - Where required provide proactive oversight on strategic projects that are mission critical for Citi. Skills: - Project Management, Engagement Management - Management of risks and issues - High-level analytical skills - Status tracking and management reporting - Strong knowledge of development tools and techniques. - Financial management Qualifications: (What academic/professional qualifications/registrations does the individual need - if relevant) Graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Math. Industry certifications in Sourcing, Banking, Project Management would be a plus (What competency skills sets does the individual need e.g. organisational skills, planning, resilience, motivation, teamwork, verbal communication skills etc) - Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate project status/risks/issues as well as technical details. - Highly organized, detail-oriented, focused - Strong analytical skills
