The individual needs to be comfortable with business analysis and design of investment applications on mainframe. The responsibility includes, but is not limited to the following: •Product Solutions Head for Investment applications and related sales tools. •Provides leadership to a team of designers, solution leads and business analysts. •Understands the base product functionality and the business requirements. •Designs and documents a technical strategy and/or solution that will meet the business needs defined in the requirements document. •Engages specialized resources (Solution Architects, global/regional Architects etc.) to validate and help design an approach for complex integrations and workflows, product roadmaps, product innovations, etc. •Ensures that technical resources understand the big picture of the entire solution. •Works in conjunction with the Project Manager, Dev Delivery team to execute the project plan for BA and High level design support on various projects and rollouts. •Responsible for standardization and optimization of system functions and processes. •Standardizing the requirements from different channels and fitting into a common ground. •Reuse the existing capabilities to a large extend and exercise due diligence in adding new products, processes. •Need to ensure right domain and system boundaries, limitations and constraints due to high regulatory nature of the product. •Ensure the solutions are standardized with various channels, customer communications, middlemen, agents and broker at the same time maintain the regulatory/compliance variation across channels, users and counterparties. •Solution to ensure right/appropriate/consistent user experience and customer experiences and in line with the agreed reference architecture •Solution management to cut across different user groups like Relationship managers, Sales and distribution, product, marketing, E business, compliance, risk, legal, operations, client communications and fincon. •Delivery of documents with consistency, quality and timely refresh of the same -Functional Specifications, High Level Design Documents, Used cases, Blue print management, FS query register, Design query register, BRD query register, Product deck, Release bulletinSkills •Should have experience in leading business analysts and solution teams. •Expertise in investment products like MF, Bonds and Securities, sales tools, etc. •Design expertise on investment applications on mainframe; exposure to midrange applications design and development will be an added advantage. •Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to handle interactions with senior management and peers on a regular basis. •Ability to build team, delegate and mentor others across teams to assist the overall team in achieving its goals. •Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels. •Ability to lead and work with teams across multiple locations and time zones •Ability to identify and manage key risks and issues. •Demonstrates thought-leadership, initiative, independence, and willingness to learn •Shows drive, integrity, sound judgment and creativity. • | Employment Type: | Full Time | Region/Country: | Asia / Pacific, Singapore | City: | APAC-Singapore | Address: | Post Date: | 05/20/2012 |
