Fraud Risk Analyst 4

Create, maintain, monitor, and report on FPI / Operational Risk Projects/Initiatives and solutions to meet current/future business needs.
Analyze various types of data including fraud trends, various fraud metrics, and other data as needed.
Work with business partners to develop predictive models / decision trees, and strategies to prevent mortgage fraud.
Must possess a strong understanding of statistical tools, as well as the principles of cost/benefit analysis and risk management.
Prepare conclusions and help make recommendations by analyzing and interpreting data summaries to improve existing processes.
Work closely with team members to help create and review Ad Hoc trend reports that help with policy change / add recommendations.
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of fraud tools. Including PL analysis of Third Party Vendor Tools.
Develop MIS reports and presentations to summarize findings (Daily, Weekly and Month-end reporting).
Must demonstrate ability to successfully engage in multiple projects

Bachelors Degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university in a quantitative field.
Experience in consumer lending industry, preferably in fraud detection.
2 - 5 years of applied statistics (univariate and multivariate).
Strong analytical, interpersonal, effective problem solving skills required and must have ability to provide logic behind ideas.
Strong knowledge/skills with Microsoft Access database, Excel (Pivot Tables) and VB.
Strong knowledge of SQL.
Knowledge of SPSS / PASW or SAS is desired.
Experience with large data sets / tables and ability to develop data applications/reporting.
Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize responsibilities required.
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills desired.
Excellent presentation skills including the use of PowerPoint.
