The Risk Analyst will perform in-depth portfolio analysis of unsecured products to assess risk and opportunities andvalidate and refine various credit policies/processes through use of analytics. The incumbent will develop and maintain strong portfolio credit quality (Bankcards and Ready Credit portfolio) with a good balance of risk and reward to optimize business opportunities and provide in-depth portfolio analysis for refinement of credit policies and risk management actions. In addition, he/she will assess competitive, legal and operating environment and analyze the impact on portfolio performance. Other responsibilities include: - Validating the appropriateness of score models/decision tools
- Developing and maintaining MIS to monitor key portfolio performance trends and reviewing credit proposals.
The ideal candidate should fit the following requirements: - Degree qualifications withat least 2-4 years' experience in financial institutions, preferably inconsumer risk management area.
- Knowledge of consumer risk management concept and general knowledge of unsecured products portfolio management, collection, etc are prerequisites.
- Strong portfolio analytical and financial analysis skills, with demonstrated ability to conceptualize and clearly communicate the analytical findings, both in writing and verbally.
- SAS programming capability; strong analytical capability, an experienced user of Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Able to effectively network with business at a senior level and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
