The Strategy Analyst will have significant subject matter expertise in delivering strategic solutions in the financial services industry with a strong Ops and/or IT risk management background. The Strategy Analyst will leverage the talents of the Global Strategy/ESRM Group and Citi partners in order to understand, identify, develop and deploy innovative risk management solutions to complex problems. Keys to success in this role are: 1) understanding the current OT risk management landscape; 2) designing structured and sustainable risk management processes and frameworks; 3) communicating strategic solutions in a clean, crisp manner; 4) gaining support from key stakeholders; and 5) ensuring effective implementation of new capabilities. Responsibilities: · Analyze existing OT risk management processes, systems and data flows to identify opportunities to raise OT's risk management capabilities to the next level · Understand existing interaction models, organization structures, historical risk events and remediation actions to develop strategic solutions to complex problems · Leverage expertise and skills to reengineer critical risk management processes to identify, prioritize and manage OT top risks · Work with other members of the Global Strategy/ESRM Team to develop innovative solutions that align with and strengthen OTRM's strategic pillars · Gain support and engage key stakeholders in the design and development of enhanced risk management processes and frameworks · Influence strategic direction and attain shared accountability for strategic implementations by working closely with key stakeholder and ensuring a smooth transition to daily operations · Present analysis and recommendations to senior management in a polished, confident manner · Be recognized as a strategic thinker, problem-solver and subject matter expert in the development of global risk management processes and frameworks · Become a risk culture carrier and advocate for the company· Minimum: BS/BA degree. Preferred: MA/M.Sc./MBA degree · Minimum of 5 years in a consulting firm or corporate environment in the financial services industry with risk management experience preferred · Minimum of 5 years experience in strategic analysis, business process reengineering, change management and/or operational modeling · Track record for delivering innovative solutions in a complex, global operating environment · Strong business analysis and project management skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Strong influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills · Strong leadership presence with a team orientation · Excellent relationship management and listening skills · Experience interfacing with and presenting results to senior management · Ability to work independently and effectively in a large, global corporate environment · Excellent follow-up skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task · Technical proficiencies in MS Office Suite, Visio and SharePoint · Knowledge of operational risk regulations (Basel) and risk management frameworks (COBIT, ITIL)
