This role will be responsible for defining the Hilton product across affluent and emerging affluent consumer segments, and driving initiatives to build features and functionality into the product that are differentiated in the market. This will include working across marketing, technology, finance, legal and servicing to ensure the customer experience delivers on the product promise. Key Responsibilities The Senior Product Strategy Director for Hilton will: •Set the strategic direction for the Product ; identify target market, develop value proposition, , underwriting strategy and overall product positioning and pillars •Responsible for the Hilton new account acquisition plan •Responsibility for Citi Hilton New Account Acquisition Plan •Managing all aspects of marketing campaigns for existing Hilton channels. •Development of new innovative partner channels to reach HHonors members •Development of Acquisition Offers; Pricing and Incentive Strategy/Enhancements •Development of Upgrade/Conversion Strategy across Citi Hilton Products •Responsibility for Competitive Assessment in the Category •Leading acquisition efforts will require working across teams encompassing Risk, CFO, Decision Management, IT, Operations; Sales Marketing; and Legal to take these products to market.. •Responsibility for Partner Reporting Analytics •Develop new product ideas and concepts •Work with finance to develop business case and financial projections to support new products or refreshed value proposition •Develop above-the-line and below-the-line media and PR strategy •Work across Citi to partner on opportunities to maximize the value of the Hilton relationship across Cards, GTS, and Retail Banking. Key Collaboration Points In order to ensure executable strategies, this position may partner with the following Citi groups: - Product Managers and Product Portfolio Managers - Customer Growth Utility (Acquisitions, Sales Activation - Customer Segment Teams (Affluent, Mass Market Citi Partners) - Loyalty New Product Teams - Chief Marketing Internet Office (CMIO) - Risk Decision Management - Customer Channels Experience - Operations Technology (OT) PartnersBusiness and Technical Requirements - 10 years of experience in financial services - Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred - Strategic, critical, franchise thinker that can work collaboratively across teams - Strong sense of accountability and decisiveness in a strong work ethic culture - Product development and/or product management experience highly desirable - Deep understanding of the changing economics and operational capabilities of the Cards business coupled with knowledge of the broader consumer financial business models - Unique customer focus.
