Manages medium-large projects for an operations segment, product line or function. Manages the research of existing operations, procedures, workflow, product and service requirements. Directs the analysis of assembled data to define problems associated with project scope. Directs project parameters, cost and resource estimates. Works closely with operations management on project impact and direction. May approve bid packages from outside vendors and contractors. Has direct management responsibility for a small project team. Requires an in-depth knowledge of the bank and overall operations environment. Qualifications Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree; MBA a plus
- Strong analytical, planning, management and organizational skills
- Possess project management, process development, consulting and problem resolution capabilities
- An in-depth knowledge of banking and overall operations environment
- Familiarity with MHA/HAMP and Default Servicing process
- Able to lead change and influence business direction in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment, establish priorities and achieve results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to satisfy customer/counterparty and stakeholder needs
- Highly organized and flexible/adaptable - able to lead multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence organization
- Skilled in Process Flow diagrams, analysis of data, ability to competently use EXCEL, Visio, Project and other project and change management software
- Comfortable being a change agent, ability to think 'outside the box'
- Demonstrated success in implementing projects and process changes with a "can do" attitude
- High energy individual
- Ability to develop and drive action plans to execution
- Minimum of four years in project management positions or operations management position
- Minimum of eight years of professional experience in Fortune 500, Government, consulting services or similiar organizations
- Ability to display and execute with "sense of urgency" and a tenacity to meet critical project deadlines
- This associate successfully works in a team environment, is able to inspect stakeholder feedback to identify, prioritize and escalate major issues
- Ability to manage teams in distributed locations
