Individual contributor role that demonstrates leadership qualities. Processes transactions in one or more of the company's internal operations to support domestic and international consumer, commercial and wholesale bank businesses or services functions. Responsibilities may include: basic level reporting, customer service support, reviewing and processing transactions for item processing, sorting using electronic or mechanical equipment, reconciling, statement rendering, MICR/image, float, lock box, remittance, ATM deposit, and performing other support operations functions as required. Maintains internal operational and financial controls and ensures they meet bank standards. Ensures quality service and effective and efficient operations support for the assigned area's internal business partners and/or external customers/clients. Performs all the functions required at the Sr. Ops Rep level and typically acts as a workflow coordinator and/or a subject matter expert. Able to prioritize and distribute daily work to meet deadlines and goals. Demonstrates a good working knowledge of the processes and procedures and the ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities. May provide guidance and direction to less experienced team members.

Job Description and Responsibilities/Additional Information:

Position requires individual to conduct sample testing on raw and finished products to ensure that all quality controls are in place. Materials and products will be selected for tests at specific stages in production processes and will be tested for quality such as format, accuracy and overall integrity. Compliance with all department policies and safety regulations is required in this position. Individual will work closely with other members of the team including all levels of management to ensure that overall integrity is achieved and will be responsible for reporting all findings. Individual will be required to participate in project teams to develop, test, implement and modified processes and/or related systems. Individual must be conscientious, diligent and able to work expeditiously at all times. This position will work under the direct supervision of the shift operation manager(s).

Ensure, in conjunction with Lead Operations Representatives, Team Managers and Operations Managers, that equipment, materials and documentation are set up to comply with policies and procedures. Utilize the Enhanced Control Framework tools to document compliance with all control points in appropriate manner.

Document reoccurring Quality issues, conducting trend analysis and take part with all levels of management and business partners to determine root cause analysis to develop corrective actions.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Conduct sample testing of raw and finished material to ensure overall integrity

Accurately and timely report all quality findings by documenting and preparing reports

Support Management and team members by participating in project teams to implement and or modify processes

Comply with the 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles

Consistently model and demonstrate behaviors as required by the Bank of America - creating and sustaining a culture of both operational and service excellence.

Understand internal workflow process, interdepartmental dependencies and workflow.

Comply with customer privacy policy guidelines

Communicate effectively with department peers, supervisors, vendor representatives, and other departments.

Qualifications


Required Skills:

The position requires an individual who is production and quality focused and who is capable of working in a high volume and demanding continuous production environment. Must demonstrate deep expertise of insertion and printing equipment and be able to understand workflow process. The individual must be a self-starter, fast learner, a team player, organized and detail oriented with exceptional work habits. Physical stamina, flexibility in work schedule, and decision making ability are also required.

Able to complete data collecting analytical reports associated with production activity

Able to read, understand, and comply with English language production documents

Aptitude to interpret data and take action

Able to be cross-trained

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Desired Skills:

Certification on platforms in which quality functions are performed.
