Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Front Office environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs. This job code is only to be used for associates supporting Capital Markets.

Specific Description:

The Market Risk DQ Reporting team is looking to hire for a full time employee position. The team is responsible for developing tools to help monitor the quality of the data used in the Market Risk applications, and for bringing new reference data sources into the platform. The successful candidate will have strong ETL skills, and the ability to understand a business process and propose a design to support that.

Qualifications


Required Skills:

5+ years Informatica 8.6/9.0

5+ years Java

5+ years RDBMS skills (Sybase, Oracle, Netezza)

Unix shell scripting

Design, performance tuning

Good communication and problem solving skills

Basic knowledge of Market Risk concepts and financial instruments

Desired Skills:

Perl scripting

Experience with Market Data Provider services (Bloomberg, Reuters etc)
Exposure to Data Lineage tools/concepts
