Analyzes and determines best course of action on delinquent or potentially delinquent mortgage loans. Assists existing borrowers who may be experiencing difficulty meeting their monthly financial obligations by skillfully probing and evaluating borrowers for various workout programs, including loan modifications. This position requires the ability to apply credit skills and sound judgment, focusing on key areas of the borrower's ability, stability and willingness to repay their loan. May require a strong understanding of and the ability to educate borrowers on the efforts and outcomes of government modification programs. Handles more complex levels of transactions with limited supervision to complete daily tasks and duties and will take on special projects as assigned by the team manager. Typically will have more than 4 years experience with a working knowledge of the mortgage business and general office skills.
Coordinate and facilitate the communication of new or changed regulatory requirements impacting Loss Mitigation Affidavit. Provides support to our attorney network. Work with Default and Foreclosue servicing along with other lines of business and key support partners to ensure initial impact determination as well as detailed implementation action plans are documented. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements will be executed within prescribed deadlines. Review implementation action plans for adequacy and completeness. Ensure concerns or gaps are identified and addressed timely. Requires thorough operations knowledge of specific products/ services line managed, usually gained through operations experience. Qualifications Required Skills:
• Workout experience with 2 years experience in a high volume environment
• Business acumen related to State mandated mediation
• Exemplary customer service and issue resolution skills
• Outstanding ability to coach, lead, negotiate, and persuade in a matrix management organization
• Ability to analyze the customer experience, identify improvement opportunities and work across functional groups on solutions to improve the customer experience.
• Ability to analyze and handle complex problems across all channels.
• Judgment, perspective, strong verbal and written communication skills, organization, negotiation and relationship development skills.
