Manages multiple global markets and banking business teams within Corporate Audit, including business risk assessments, execution of the audit plan, all elements of personnel management and development, communication and expense management. Responsible for planning and developing audit strategy and managing audit services for significant lines of business. Exercises judgment and influences business executives, managers and peers. Ensures business partners balance their business strategy with appropriate risk management controls and operate within risk appetite guidelines. Works with Audit's senior leadership to develop, implement and communicate Corporate Audit's mission, goals and strategies. Proactively manages the relationships with regulatory agencies, external auditors and internal risk management groups and control functions. Qualifications Required Skills:
- Proficient knowledge of Global Markets and Banking businesses and products (including derivatives); with a specific emphasis on Rates, Currencies, Equities, Commodities, Credit, Investment Banking, Research, and Capital Markets businesses
- Extensive experience auditing trading, sales, investment banking, and capital markets businesses
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present results to senior management and write concise reports for Audit Committee purposes.
- Individual will report directly to the Senior Audit Director responsible for Global Banking and Markets while also being a liaison with global regional peers.
- Versatile and one who operates well with change
- Individual will be responsible for the following:
- A team of approx. 20 professionals (including managers)
- Planning and managing risk based audit activities for the above
businesses.
-Functional coordination with EMEA, Asia and LATAM counterparts
-Maintaining relationships with the multiple regulators
-Identifying and taking actions on emerging risks
-Primary audit contact with global line of business executives
-Establishing appropriate continuous risk monitoring routines.
-Staff development
Desired Skills:
- CPA, MBA or CFA preferred.
