Responsible for performing complex analysis and modeling. Utilizes a variety of systems including, but not limited to Excel, Access, Visual Basic, SAS, and InfoQuest at an intermediary level. Provides analytical support on various strategies to ensure company goals are met. Coordinates the production of performance reports and updates for senior management. May utilize established databases to provide statistical and financial modeling. Analyzes portfolio trends, concerning risk, loss trends, marketing performance, portfolio dynamics, and bureau scoring criteria. Will participate in the rollout of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models. Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion and independent judgment. 2-5 years experience preferred. - Responsible for the operational design, coding, and execution of Account Management strategies for the USCC, Small Business, and/or Consumer Lending products.
- Works with Credit, Risk Strategies, Marketing, and the CSBB and Enterprise Technology groups to devise solutions solving business problems - by improving BAC's underwriting processes and decision engine platforms.
- Analyzes process flows, platform design, decisioning code, strategy waterfalls and other process documents - to drive improvement changes for the business.
- Acquires and analyzes information from databases and transaction sampling to code, test, and perform post-release quality control certification. Creates systemic process control reporting to ensure accuracy and consistency of customer treatment.
- Strong attention to detail and the aptitude and desire to work in data-based environments is required. Data is sourced through numerous platforms using basic-to-intermediate SQL/SAS skills that can be learned while in the position.
Qualifications Required Skills - Ability to navigate judgemental lending systems
- Intermediate level skills of Microsoft office, specifically Excel and/or Access
- Working knowledge of how lending platforms work - controls, inputs/outputs, etc.
- Fundamental knowledge of bank systems and/or BAC decision platforms
- Demonstrated communication skills with partners - written and oral
