General Description

Responsible for directing and coordinating the day-to-day corporate tax activities for business units, corporate support staff , the parent company and the consolidated group. Activities include tax forecasting, assisting management in the planning, development and implementation of tax minimization strategies including project management and results tracking. Manages compliance with the tax reporting requirements of the various federal, state, local and foreign governmental jurisdictions to which the company and its affiliates are subject. Considered a working manager. Coordinates, directs and manages tax related staff activities in addition to active involvement in the execution of processes. Supports achievement of business goals through proactive partnership and development and implementation of tax policies and procedures.

Specific Description

Tax Senior Manager accountable for Tax Roadmap and NewBAC Initiatives. Primary focus will be split between process re-design initiatives and Tax Planning initiatives. Will collaborate with the senior level Tax LOB's to ensure that project objectives, business cases, governance and execution is carried out according to PMO best practices while improving ROI. Will assure coordination with all key stakeholders within and external to tax including Finance, LOB's, Change Management and third party service providers. Assist on future project business care development and prioritization. This role requires a combination of project delivery experience and finance/tax oriented skills, good organizatoin, planning, risk management and communication skills in order to drive operational change.

Qualifications


Required Skills

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience, requiring a combination of project delivery experience and finance/tax oriented skills
  • Accounting or other business degree
  • CPA designation strongly preferred
  • Candidate requires good organization, planning, risk management and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and supervise project teams
