Responsible for applying data mining and statistical techniques to identify opportunities and make recommendations to control losses and increase profitability. Investigate new, innovative techniques and modeling to optimize both lead selection and prioritization. Analyst will work closely with internal/external business partners including but not limited to Credit, Governance, and Finance to maximize the risk/reward tradeoff. The successful candidate will interact with business partners both within and external to the line of business. The successful candidate will also communicate analyses and discoveries across the Card Services organization and to senior management. The successful candidate will have proven technical skills and a sound knowledge of SAS / SQL, conceptual knowledge of risk management methodologies and business processes related to consumer card.
