Data Governance Manager in Corporate Treasury's Data Management organization - Develop and execute plans to meet the new Enterprise Data Management Policy & Standards requirements across the CT local business, technology, and business partners
- Define, design and manage Corporate Treasury's data management governance routines
- This will include governance of the defined areas of focus of the data management program (e.g. metadata . data quality, data provisioning - data sourcing)
- Upstream Data Provider relationship building and implementation of robust Data Sharing Agreements (SLAs)
- Lead the design of and implementation of necessary control processes in order to sustain efficient data management practices.
- Facilitate a governance/execution workgroup with various business and technology stakeholders (Business SME's, Data Custodians, Data Stewards, and Application Managers)
- Drive culture and adoption of data management responsibilities to Governance participants and provide for effective
Decision Making and Voting Review of exceptions Metrics and reporting - Provide custodianship of data management governance artifacts
- Provide strategic direction from business perspective on reporting and business intelligence tools
General Description : Manages teams and directs the day-to-day project activities relating to Finance tools and solutions. Manages a portfolio of projects, particularly large and complex projects. Considered a working manager. In addition to supervisory/administrative duties, individuals are actively involved in the review and delivery of project deliverables. Assists management in the development of solution strategies. Works directly with senior management of Finance or the LOB to set strategic direction of the project. Demonstrates strong subject matter knowledge about existing financial solutions and processes within their scope of responsibility. Requires an understanding of Finance, Accounting, Technology and Project Management. Works closely with Change Management partners, Technology partners and user community to deliver projects on time, on scope and on budget. Qualifications Required Skills : - Solid track record of standing up new governance, culture, and efficient processes spanning business and business partners.
- Strong relationship and influencing skills with different levels of management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - assertive when needed.
- Proficient in MS Office tools.
- Undergraduate degree required, preferably in a related Banking, Finance, Technology, or Risk Management discipline.
- 5-10 years applicable experience.
