General Description: The Compliance Executive leads a team to oversee Compliance Risk Management for Home Loans with a specific focus on Underwriting and Fulfillment Operations. Each Each HL/LAS Compliance Executive is responsible for knowing and independently enforcing compliance with the applicable rules and standards for the line of business to which they are aligned; developing compliance policies aligned to the rules and standards; proactively identifying and measuring risks through control assessments, independently monitoring and managing testing; holding the business accountable for risk mitigation and remediation efforts; conducting regular management routines with regulators and business leaders; timely escalation of key risks and issues including compliance, emerging and reputational; oversight and accountability for select assigned Enterprise Compliance Programs. Partners with peers in Rules and Standards, Testing, Regulatory Relations and Governance Reporting to deliver independent compliance risk management required for HL/LAS business unit.
