Sr. Business Analyst will have primary responsibilty for analysis, design, documentation supporting business areas of Credit Risk, Regulatory Reporting, Finance, Collateral Management, and new user constituencies. Individual will work with business teams to understand, document, and interpret business requirements, obtain business signoffs on requirements. This individual will be resposible for direct contact and faciliation of resolutions with feed data source representatives (BAs and Development teams) to work on feed change requirements, new feeds, production related issues and all related documentation.
Business Analysis will also engage development team to review business requirements, obtain development effort estimates, manage a list of projects/tasks for each upcoming release, coordinate testing and facilitate business user signoffs. Candidate will be involved with QA team to assist them in understanding business requirements and facilitate testing process.
This role will report directly to the lead Business Analyst Manager. Qualifications
Required Skills
This role requires experience with requirements gathering, data feed specifications, high-level and low-level functional designs, data mapping specifications designs and data analysis. Candidate must be proficient in MS Office and SQL. Capital Markets background is very important.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills
Ability to work with distributed teams. Experience with SDLS methodology, knowledge of financial products, beginner knowledge of data modeling concepts. Proactive and dedicated team player.
