Participates in design, development and implementation of systems engineering activities, to include OS technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities. Responsible for components of complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities. Assists in establishment of input/output processes and working parameters for hardware compatibility and coordination of subsystems design and integration of total system. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. Will not have direct reports but will influence and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. Provides input on staffing, budget and personnel. Typically 5 or more years of systems engineering experience.
This is an engineering position within Desktop & Electronic Communications (D&EC), as part of the Technology Infrastructure.
This open position is for an individual contributor role in the Windows Identity Integration team. The responsibilities are as follows: - Design, engineer, test, document, implement and support Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager 2010 (FIM Portal, FIM Service, and FIM Sync Engine).
- Development and testing of new FIM Management Agents
- Maintenance and support of existing Management Agents
- Ensure that Management Agents address all documented requirements
- Develop detailed specifications from which new Management Agents and programs are written
- Validate business rules and requirements with business partners
- Write technical documentation and system flow charts for Management Agents based on an understanding of the business or functional requirements and technical infrastructure
- Perform daily FIM tasks
- Perform daily Access and Identity Management tasks as a member of the Windows Identity Integration team including:
- Active Directory Engineering
- ADAM/LDS Engineering
- Identity Management Engineering
- Custom Tool Engineering using .NET
- SQL Server Engineering
- IIS Engineering

Required Technical Skills: - Experience must be at a Senior Engineer level with a proven record of designing and deploying complex systems for large enterprise level organizations. Experience in identity and access management systems design and provisioning using Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager 2010 (FIM Portal, FIM Service, and FIM Sync Engine). Candidate must have this level of experience in the following technologies:
