General Description: Oversee management and operation of Compliance Risk Management programs within a core function of the Home Loans/Legacy Asset Services businesses (e.g. Default Compliance within Servicing.) serving as the liaison for FHA and HUD Requirements. Responsibilities include coordination of FHA and HUD Requirements, Issues Management, Exam Management and reporting for HL and LAS. Responsible for knowing and independently enforcing compliance with the applicable rules and standards for the line of business to which they are aligned; developing compliance policies aligned to the rules and standards; proactively identifying and measuring risks through control assessments, independently monitoring and managing testing; holding the business accountable for risk mitigation and remediation efforts; conducting regular management routines with business leaders; timely escalation of key risks and issues including compliance, emerging and reputational. Partners with peers in Rules and Standards, Testing, Regulatory Relations and Governance Reporting to deliver independent compliance risk management required for core process area of responsibility.
