Responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling for multiple products with the goal of maximizing profits and asset growth and minimizing risk and operating losses and/or other financial and marketing exposures. Develops complex program models to extract data and uses multiple databases to acquire statistical and financial data. Utilizes portfolio trends to propose policy/procedural changes within segmentation structure to produce optimal results. Excels at risk/reward trade off. Build relationships with external agencies. Participates in the rollout of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models. Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion, independent judgment, the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and the utilization of core leadership behaviors. SAS an//or MicroStrategy experience preferred; 2-5 years experience preferred.
Responsible for driving existing and new product strategies for Card: - Evaluate and monitor the competitive environment and assist in conducting Customer Needs analysis to identify Card product gaps and opportunities
- Participate in developing product strategy, including new product construct design, research, and business case development across different business segments
- Participate in the evaluation of current product offerings to determine the need to redesign/ refresh/ or retire existing products
- Coordinate with marketing and segment partners to integrate card product strategy into their work streams including testing plan development and execution
- Utilize multiple sources of research to recommend new product ideas
- Evaluate results of in-market testing to facilitate improvement of product constructs and positioning
Qualifications Desired Skills: - Strong and creative problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work with all levels of management and to work in cross functional teams
- Strong understanding of the product development cycle from idea generation, to VOC execution, business case development, and in market test design .
- Minimum of 3-5 years marketing or product development experience in Consumer Credit/Finance industry including strategy development.
- Knowledge of credit card products and industry
- Strong financial skills with the ability to build business cases supported by detailed financials
- Effective at building consensus
- The ability to work with multiple channels and business areas to assist with strategy development and implementation.
Desired Skills: - Degree in Marketing or Finance.
- Understanding of the Card Competitive environment
- Experience with formulating VOC /customer research
- MBA a plus
