Manages a group of analysts that are responsible for performing strategic analysis to improve portfolio risk, profitability, and operational performance for a specific business segment. This position requires determining key priorities for their team while also providing analytical and technical guidance to analysts to drive project completion. Key functions involve developing asset quality monitoring, identifying business trends based on economic and portfolio conditions, and executing strategic enhancements. Manages the team's analysis focusing on criteria margins, model score use, forecasting, portfolio trends, and demographic performance. Responsible for conducting interviews, training Risk Management Analysts, and guiding all aspects of project development. Communicates business trends to senior management, creates financial assessments and interprets risk analytics. Sound knowledge of SAS / SQL, financial statements, and business processes preferred. 5+ years risk management experience preferred.

Additional Information:

Partners with the line of business owner for Collections Inventory, in understanding the movement throughout the default cycle, escalating and remediating any issues, collaborating with senior leadership team to understand and analyze any/all movement.

• Responsible for 'deep dives' in monitoring Collections Inventory Management routines and exercises, including:

• Daily, monthly review of collections inventory and impediments to callable / non callable statuses

• Responsible for investor, compliance, escalated account reviews and report outs

• Participates in 'Code Governance' Committee, responsible for assessing impact of changes to and from default inventory

• Drives the process between our account review team and our foreclosure partners to ensure collections related impediments are cleared

• Actively participates in the report out of aged inventory

• Partners with operational business partners to understand impacts to our inventory and build appropriate action plans to remediate issues.
