Purpose of Role The MI Analyst will have responsibility for collection, evaluation and preparation of data for GCE. They will drive improvement initiatives and provide data to support decisions on business strategic and tactical changes. In addition, they will prepare reports and recommendations, while having full participation in the analysis and interpretation of data, as appropriate. They will manage the relationship between work requesting stakeholders, evaluating requirements and planning the subsequent development projects. Core Accountabilities Management and Improvement of Data Analysis of Data Analysis and Tools The MI Analyst will design and develop the reporting solution for Client Support using a number of tools, having expert skills in Excel, Access and familiarity with SQL and VBA. They will develop and provide reporting for different departments throughout Barclays Wealth, to ensure that the business have a clear understanding of the key business measures. The role holder will have run regular reporting procedures with accuracy and efficiency. Support Process Improvement The MI Analyst will be responsible for evidence-based decision making and providing support to Front Office, Client Support and Investment Services Operations Management Teams, in order to deliver a series of process reviews and improvements. Specific initiatives will be taken on board to support stakeholders in achieving their goals, reporting back on the key findings to defined deadlines. As well as initiating proposals for action, the MI Analyst will prepare and deliver presentations and workshops, as required. In addition to this, a variety of professional, administrative and clerical services to the department will be provided. Supervisory Responsibilities There are no supervisory responsibilities to this position. Key Clients (Internal and External) The role holder's key internal clients will be Barclays Stockbrokers; Barclays Private Investment Management; Barclays Wealth International; and Barclays Private Bank.
