What are the key accountabilities of this role?
Provision of Business Analysis to support the delivery of project/programmes (0- 80 %) - Undertake the defining and planning of analysis activities of the project
- Ensure the delivery and presentation of analysis to appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the project plan.
- Ensure delivery of analysis to discover needs, define scope and requirements for technical solutions
- Undertake analysis using a range of discovery and decomposition techniques
- Develop core analysis artefacts, for example (but not exclusively) requirements definitions, operational designs, benefits realization plans
- Facilitate analysis workshops and in depth interviews to elicit requirements, conduct research using a range of resources
- Provide analytical support to project management and technical architects.
- Provide regular workstream progress reports to the project manager
Provision of Change Manager insight, advice and guidance to support the delivery of project/programmes (0- 80 %) - Undertake the defining and planning of change activities of the project
- Work with project stakeholders to ensure the business is ready, able and willing to accept the change to be delivered by the project
- Provide advice, guidance and support for all project workstream communications, training and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure all change management deliverables, including communications and stakeholder engagements, from the workstream/project are to appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the project plan.
- Assess the organisation's capacity (collective and individual) to adopt the change
- Effective management of own time and of reports
Sub-Project/Project Delivery (0- 80 %) - Operate in accordance with project governance.
- Deliver the project, or sub-project, in accordance with project objectives
- Ensure delivery of project deliverables are to appropriate levels of quality, on time, within budget and in accordance with the Project Plan
- Plan and monitor project / workstream progress, resolve issues and initiate corrective action as appropriate, report project progress at regular intervals to business and project stakeholders
- Manage the project budget, monitoring the expenditure and costs
- Ensure the project is resourced to meet its objective(s).
- Manage the project's assumptions, dependencies, interfaces, risks and issues affecting the project's delivery
Organisational Development (5%) - Mentor and coach colleagues and clients by sharing experience and knowledge.
- Provide objective feedback and input to Performance Management Reviews
- Identify, propose and champion new and improved change management and analysis methods, tools and techniques and operational process improvements
Personal & Professional Development (5%) - Maintain and develop knowledge and skill in chosen technical disciplines
