The role holder will be responsible for key operational transaction reporting issues across the business and how change will impact accordingly, including any necessary risk assessments process. They will have in depth technical knowledge, underpinned by sound problem solving and analytical skills. The role holder will contribute to the delivery of exceptional business performance and will be responsible for providing an excellent level of service. They will be the SME in transaction reporting, being a key contact within the business for these regulatory matters. Core Accountabilities Operational Performance and Service Management The role holder will lead a high performing team to deliver regulatory monitoring and reporting activity in accordance with FSA regulatory requirements, with a focus on accurate, complete, compliant and timely execution of our obligations. They will deliver a world class service to Barclays Wealth and its clients, ensuring service and quality levels are met, while operating within a robust control environment. The role holder will keep informed of all new market and regulatory initiatives and will be the contact that will cascade key messages out to the business, as required. Stakeholder Management The role holder will liaise with key product stakeholders over a multiple client base, to ensure excellent customer service, and will work with stakeholders to leverage best practice and consistency. Change and Project Based Activities The role holder will contribute to the design and implementation of all related change and project based activities. The individual will assist in the management, creation, communication and implementation of Business change initiatives in a professional and positive manner. Personal Development The role holder will have responsibility for managing the development of all of their team, by setting and holding their team accountable for structured Performance Development Plans. The individual will also be responsible for driving their self development, while being supported by their line manager. Leadership and Management The role holder will lead the team to achieve service excellence in their field. Leading by example, the individual will ensure the team's awareness of Barclays Wealth's mission and values and will ensure their understanding of their role in the overall objectives of Barclays Wealth. The role holder will manage the team through change and growth, clearly communicating on a timely basis rationale for decisions. Supervisory Responsibilities The role holder will possess strong leadership and people management skills, ensuring the consistent management of succession planning, training, performance management and the development of high performers.
