We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Director - Risk Consulting in our San Francisco area office. This position will support Aon's Aon Global Risk Consulting (AGRC) Group in the Western Region.

JOB OVERVIEW

This is a position reporting to the Managing Director of Business Development for the Americas region of Aon Global Risk Consulting (AGRC). The Director will support Business Development operations associated with AGRC Americas operations in the Western Region.

Position Responsibilities/Main Functions:

• Support achievement of AGRC's new business target in the U.S., primarily in the Western region
• Support Aon Global Risk Consulting (AGRC) business development needs inWestern region including:
• Own new business activities related to AGRC, including leveraging existing AGRC analytics , tools, and research to engage client discussion regarding AGRC
• In conjunction with Aon network, build client relationships to position AGRC services
• Communicate new business activities to Aon leaders in the Western region as well as AGRC leaders/colleagues in the U.S.
• Participate in special initiatives to drive new business

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS

• BS degree or equivalent degree, preferably in risk management or related field
• 5-10 years ideally working in a consulting and business development environment with hands on experience implementing or delivering insurance, risk control, claims, captives, analytics, and enterprise risk management strategies and action plans
• Strong sales and leadership presentation skills
• Writing skills
• Project management
• Experience in 3 of the last 10 years working with Fortune 500 companies and with expertise in at least two of the following technical disciplines - insurance, risk control, claims, captives, analytics, and enterprise risk management
• Acumen to recognize client needs and buyer signs and match to AGRC services suite
• Ability to travel periodically within the United States
