Currently we have an exciting career opportunity for Executive Benefits Specialists with Aon at our Atlanta, GAoffice.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Specialist's primary function is to perform the day-to-day administration for the benefit plans assigned to him or her in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.
  • The Specialist will train with EXB Design and Client Services staff to gain a fundamental understanding of EXB's business, including our products, structure, vendors, internal systems, and standard operating procedures.

The administration functions will include, but are not limited to :

  • Enrolling new participants and issuing new policies
  • Using software to generate new funding requirements and prepare premium bills as required
  • Using databases and spreadsheets for plan reporting and financial analysis
  • Using internal systems for forecasting and reconciling revenue
  • Providing reports to clients' accounting, payroll, human resources personnel and financial decision-makers to support them as they manage the plans
  • Communicating plan benefits to plan participants; providing participant-level services
  • Reviewing plan and enrollment documents to ensure that they reflect the plan design
  • Maintaining current and historic plan information such that it can be referenced efficiently by others - filing, imaging, internal database, procedures, client calendar, case profiles, etc.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Mature and professional demeanor
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Results-oriented
  • Ability to cultivate relationships
  • The ability to work as an integral part of a team, fostering teamwork, as well as to work independently or with minimal direction
  • Adaptability - quick learner
  • Positive attitude

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant work / internship experience and/or involvement in extracurricular activities

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  • Candidates holding a Bachelor Degree with a major in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts or a related degree; candidates in the process of completing this Degree with a graduation date of December 2011 or May 2012 will also be considered
  • A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred
