Banking Products Specialist
Increase Assets Under Management and Revenue for depository banking services. Improve visibility and value of banking products to Front Office.

Responsibilities Include:

Wholesale sales of consumer and business banking services to Private Bankers and Registered Financial Advisors, as well as direct sales to their clients. Build depository banking business by generating new client sales and driving growth in AUM and profit. Travel 25%, covering 26 sales offices in 15 cities. Develop client lead sources. Create and refine Marketing plan and materials with Sales and Marketing. Responsible for prioritizing product development opportunities and working with Product Management to create business case / justification.

The position may grow to include management of some sales and client on-boarding specialists. The on-boarding function includes creating standard processes and tools to delight clients with their 1st exposure to the company Private Wealth Management Banking. May include documentation, training, process design as well as cycle time and quality measurement / improvement.

Viable candidates will have a notable sense of urgency, a strong work ethic, a high degree of professionalism, the ability to focus on fine details as well as high level strategic issues, exceptional communications skills, and working knowledge of the consumer and business banking industry and products.

Position also contributes to strategy, analytics, and other team functions. Addition details follow below:

Sales
• Deepen penetration into the Front Office (Private Bank and Private Client Services Sales)
• Educate Sales on products, platform, competitive landscape, market trends, regulatory changes
• Travel to sales offices to promote services (26 offices in 15 cities)
• Fast responsiveness to front office and clients, with a strong sense of urgency
• Review banker/broker clients and prospects to identify banking opportunities
• Develop sales tools/job aids for Front Office
• Lead client meetings/demos
• Negotiate Rates with clients and Sales
• Establish and maintain Pipeline Tracking
• Revenue forecasting

Marketing
• Develop and execute marketing plan
• Develop and update marketing materials
• Proactively distribute to Front Office

Cross Sell
• Identify and exploit cross sell opportunities

Prioritize product development opportunities
• Understand competitive landscape and industry changes
• Gather feedback from Front Office and Clients and prioritize for Product Management

Skills Required:

• 7-10 years of experience working with UHNW clientele
• Ability to work under pressure and with many different types of obstacles and products
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in addition to proven analytical skills
• Self-starter, motivated and dedicated to high-touch client service
• Highly responsive
• Strong work ethic
• High degree of professionalism,
• Ability to focus on fine details as well as high-level strategic issues
• Working knowledge of the consumer and business banking industry and products.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, PPT, Word
