We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Sr. Audit/Compliance Business Technical Analyst in our Chicago Loop Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic programs to ensure IT compliance with regulations and standards globally as applicable to Aon.
• Manage and drive continuous improvement of existing IT compliance programs globally including but not limited to: Sarbanes-Oxley ("SOX"), PCI, HIPAA, Service Organization Controls ("SOC"), IT Risk Assessment (NIST 800-39), Data Privacy and the ISO 27002 Security Framework.
• Recommends process improvements/enhancements to existing compliance programs as well as be a change agent for new or modified policies/procedures based on the evolving regulatory landscape.
• Collaborate/partner with the business and security to ensure the design of our IT Control Framework, Control Mapping, Risk Assessments, and Gap Analysis is performed to ensure processes are in place to meet Global Control Objectives.
• Collaborate/partner with the business and security to ensure ownership and remediation of regulatory requirements that have an Infrastructure component.
• Develop and implement initiatives to reduce the cost by helping drive standardization into the compliance programs.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, internal consultant, and thought partner on all related IT Compliance issues.
• Establish credibility throughout the organization by earning the reputation for being a partner, promoting and fostering an environment of mutual respect.
• Ensure measurements are in place that trend progress of IT compliance with regulations and standards and articulate maturity in IT Compliance programs.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in regulatory compliance, IT Information Security, Risk management and/or audit roles
• Experience with international compliance requirements/standards such as Payment Card Data Security Standards, HIPAA, GLBA, Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, (FSA and Safe Harbor a plus)
• Proven success in developing, executing, and driving risk remediation mitigation plans to closure.
• Strong knowledge of applicable compliance/risk concepts and methodologies
• Ability to work across lines of business and balance the needs of multiple constituents across geographies
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
• Strong program management, project management, and execution and delivery oversight; project management certification a plus
• Attention to detail around metrics, accountability and operational excellence
• Strong understanding of information security audit standards and best practices
