Receivables Specilaist-PASC - 201177 Job Details

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Receivable Management Specialist in our Owings Mills, MD Office.

Summary-

Applies intermediate financial analysis and collections/credit skills to the position.

Roles and Responsibilities-

-Work with Resident Managing Directors and takes collection ownership of lost clients.

-Works with Premium Accounting Service Center (PASC) and regional financial operations' staff to resolve billing issues/disputes, ensures current and accurate ARR.

-Works with local office staff and regional financial operations' staff to advise and provide guidance to minimize outstanding balances from becoming a bad debt.

-Prepares and processes charge off vouchers. Manage and assist Third Party Collection Agency to expedite collection of outstanding balances.

-Works with Data Management staff, link and report Experian credit worthiness of clients and determine if, at renewal, prior payment history requires financing of renewal program.

-Working with regional finance operations' staff, local office Relationship Manager and Aon legal department, determines the appropriate legal action to collect monies on uncollectible accounts. Includes coordination of bankruptcy filings, includes the filing of claims.

-Working with senior syndication leadership, reviews and provides management information around carrier insolvencies and impact on ARS book of business.

-May conduct special studies or participate in special projects.

-Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Education Requirement-

B.S. in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience

Minimum Experience Requirement

Minimum 5 years collection activity in increasingly more responsible positions preferably with an insurance organization or financial services organization.
