(Alternate office locations will be considered as well). This position will service accounts under the direction of a Team Leader/Director of Operations. May take primary account handling responsibilities on selected accounts. Shares responsibility of premium collections and record keeping with Account Executive. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Establish and maintain relationships with Surety markets. Services existing/assigned clients based on Company standards, including, but not limited to, the following: - Preparation of all types of bonds; including, but not limited to bid, final, miscellaneous and court.
- Preparation of Consent of Surety, Prequalification Letters, Riders, and other documents required by clients.
- Run expiration lists and update AonBondLink records according to client's wishes.
- Process billings in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate electronic bond files in ABL as well as financial files.
- Invoice and maintain account receivables/payables.
- Preparation of General Indemnity Agreements/Bond Applications.
- Handle countersignature requirements, as needed.
- Provide surety technical advice and support to non-surety personnel.
- Coordinate with clients for receipt of pertinent underwriting information, as needed.
- Confirm that bonds are issued in compliance with surety lines of credit. Help to negotiate approvals for execution of bonds that are outside of / in excess of surety line of credit or broker authority.
- Comply with Aon CSS Business Process Guidelines and Signature Service Standards.
- Maintain appropriate Producer License.
- Maintain Notary Public designation.
- Maintain Power of Attorney appointments with major surety markets.
- Maintain proficiency on all computer technology required and update periodically. This includes: AonBondLink, Bridge and Lotus Notes.
- Supervise/train Client Service Associate(s), as necessary.
- Perform work/duties as requested.
PREREQUISITES - Minimum ofthree years as an Account Manager, or work related position.
- Ability to recognize problems, establish facts and develop valid recommendations.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively.
- Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions dealing with abstract and concrete variables.
- Possession of excellent "people" skills, including ability to communicate (both verbal and written) with markets and clients effectively.
