- evaluate and challenge the effectiveness of various operational risk and compliance assessment reports prepared
- ensure that the operational risk profiles are submitted to the BU Chief Operating Officer and the relevant stakeholders
- take accountability for the implementation of corrective actions and recommendations made with respect
- keep oneself updated on changes and developments in relevant legislation and regulations with input provided
- provide direction to the BU Risk Officer on the management of the BU Risk Forum and participate on the AFS Risk and Governance Forum
- own and agree corrective action items with Internal Audit and Management Assurance
- work with the Group Internal Audit and Management Assurance during the scoping of audits to ensure fair coverage
