Show me jobs like this one| Employer: | GMAC Mortgage | Job Ref No: | 18733 | Job Title: | Application Support Analyst - Energy & Commodities | Sector: | Asset Management | Sub Sector: | Other | Expertise: | Risk Manager | Key Duties: • Maintain client satisfaction with Kiodex by resolving questions and issues raised by clients • Increase the value of client relationships with Kiodex by selling additional functionality • Act as the clients' advocate within Kiodex with respect to product development • Run end of day process for selected clients, involving trade processing, running reports, and reconciling with prime brokers and administrators Position Requirements Essential Experience Required; • Proven experience working with a commodities risk management system •Strong understanding of commodity derivatives pricing •Strong understanding of risk management theory Desirable Experience Required; • Experience working with automating trade entry, reporting processes and analysing broker/financial statements Essential Skills Required; •Strong problem-solving skills to resolve client issues •Dedication and commitment to ensuring clients get outstanding level of service •Excellent communication skills to explain solutions to clients and to articulate clients' needs within Kiodex •Attention to detail, willingness to learn and able to work under pressure Desirable Skills Required; • Ability to sell the value of additional functionality to clients • Proven experience working with large datasets in Excel and VBA, and reconciling end of day commodity derivative trades and positions SunGard's solutions for capital markets help banks, broker/dealers and futures commission merchants increase the efficiency and transparency of securities and derivatives processing.
