This position is responsible for the quality of loan portfolio assigned and the effectiveness of the portfolio management. Provides day to day credit support, coordination, and management for assigned loan portfolios. Ensures customers are being serviced effectively, their inquiries responded to and operational situations resolved promptly and efficiently. - Reviews the loan request, analyze financial information and spread, structures the credit facility, underwrites credit memo and makes credit recommendations.
- Reviews loan documentation and manages loan process through pre-funding and transaction booking.
- Performs credit file maintenance and provides credit support to Relationship Managers on the assigned loan portfolio.
- Ensures assigned loan portfolios are in compliance with bank policies, procedures and regulations.
- Participates in management projects as needed and assist in achieving the companys goals and objectives.
Education Requirement: University Degree preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years in previous lending or finance related experience.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationship both internally and externally.
- Strong underwriting skill in commercial lending
- Ability to independently resolve complex credit issues and analyze credit risks.
- Good knowledge of bank policies and procedures, rules and regulations.
- Strong motivation with effective organizational, problem-solving, negotiation follow-up skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Moodys Financial Analyst.
