Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Demonstration of the complete software suite as well as explanation of the various risk components (credit risk, market risk and operation risk) in accordance with Basel Accord and CBRC guidelines, Working with CRO of customer to discuss and develop the RM framework and practices as well convince the customers to adopt the best practice of Risk management which benefit SunGard's solutions 2. Managing and performing in-depth evaluations (during a week workshop or Proof of Concept for instance) of the software in the context of specific business requirements. 3. Ability to analyze business requirement to provide best practice and customize the system to fit prospect's requirements. 4. Responses to queries from prospects and clients which may take the form of informal requests or more formal RFI/RFP documents. 5. Presentations of the company and its solutions to prospects/clients and at trade shows/exhibitions. 6. Keep pre-sales documentation up to date. 7. Develop and maintain knowledge of competitor's solutions. 8. Share knowledge and experience through the whole distribution group. Position Requirements Knowledge/Experience: Essential Experience Required; 1. A minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience (if Masters Degree in Finance, 3+years relevant work experience) in a financial institution, management consultancy or relevant software/systems house. 2. Solid understanding and experience of Basel Accord related risk management.. 3. Sound knowledge of Accounting practices. Knowledge of financial instruments (FX, MM, IRS, FRA, Bonds etc.)desired, Hedge Accounting a plus. Essential Skills Required; • Excellent English written and oral expression • Good presentation and communication skill • Understanding of sales tactics and process • Able to establish good relationship with customers in the respective areas through his/her domain knowledge Qualifications: • Bachelor degree or above in Finance or a related field.
