Managed Account Representative For SunGard GMI Job Details

Position Responsibilities

The Managed Account Representative (MAR) will assist the global client in adapting the Steam GMI Financial Accounting System to their business needs. This role is highly customer focused and involves managing relations with the client, researching and presenting business solutions, tracking and resolving issues, developing new business through value-added services, and raising the client’s awareness of SunGard / Stream GMI products. The MAR will know the client’s processing interests and goals and will be proactive in getting information to the client. The MAR is familiar with the client’s data environments (files and source libraries) and is the primary contact for short and long term projects as well as production issues. The MAR will intimately know the client’s business and business requirements. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES and FUNCTIONS • Ensure that the client is well informed and prepared for all exchange-mandated initiatives. • Interact with clients in presentations, data gathering, and analysis activities. • Manage client open issues log and work with client to prioritize issues: Act as the client’s advocate within Sungard / Stream GMI. • Attend scheduled status meetings. • Manage the research and implementation of daily and ongoing issues related to product functionality. • Attend internal meetings with Product Managers, members of the development staff, and sales to advance the progress of the client’s open issues. • Oversee the creation and writing of management overviews and functional specifications for custom programs. • Follow projects through from inception to delivery in order to insure delivery dates are met or client is apprised of any changes to the delivery schedule. • Ensure that client is well informed and prepared for all Exchange mandated initiatives.

Position Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the Stream GMI application with a minimum of 5 year Stream GMI experience. • Highly organized with the ability to manage a heavy workload in a dynamic environment. • Strong client management skills. • Strong communication skills. • College Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred.
