Within IB F&BM, the Controllers organization is responsible for ensuring the overall integrity and validity of the financial statements and controls over the transaction cycle; performing critical reporting functions for the organization, including legal entity, financial and regulatory, as well as product valuation; and improving ongoing processes, and ensuring execution and implementation of the overall financial architecture. Operational Risk and Program management responsibilities include: · Development and implementation of the overall IB framework and standards for Operational Risk Management across IB · Establishment of minimum governance standards, data and information requirements · Assists the firm in complying with various laws, regulations and other requirements related to operational risk · Providing robust communication to senior stakeholders for program updates Specific responsibilities include: · Assessing control deficiencies and providing end to end view of risk and control environment to senior management · Develop IB Control Self Assessment framework including key controls and standards to be utilized across LoBs · Manage, coordinate IB Control Self Assessment process · Manage members of team providing support to IB users of the firmwide Operational Risk Management Tool, Phoenix · Define Risk Event Standards Guidance · Representing IB on various Corporate Operational Risk Management initiatives, e.g., Phoenix enhancements, Firmwide Risk Standardizations · Provide Operational Risk Training for Control Self Assessments and Risk Events · Lead/manage various control related projects · Oversee production of Operational Risk MetricsThe candidate must be a self starter who is able to work in a fast paced, results driven environment, be confident and have excellent communications skills as the role will have global exposure, accountability and responsibility.
