We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Project Management Office (PMO) Leader in either our Glenview, IL or Winston-Salem, NC office. This position will support Aon Consulting's Employee Benefits Outsourcing group.

The PMO Leader will hire, train, and lead a group of Project Managers across our service delivery sites.  This role will be responsible for guiding a team of colleagues to build and manage extensive project plans, institute project management best practices, provide statistical analysis, conduct reporting, identify barriers to projects staying on track, and present findings and updates to all levels of colleagues in the organization.  This position will work directly with the client's senior level management and make presentations as needed. 

DESCRIPTION of DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Hire, train, and lead a group of Project Managers
•Manage large-scale projects, able to identify independencies and linkages between disparate projects
•Establish protocols for Project Managers:  perform project management, provide status updates, provide reporting, etc.
•Develop project plans, milestones and timelines to baseline tasks required for the completion of projects.
•Responsible for providing statistical analysis, reporting, identifying enhancements, and streamlining processes.
•Serve as liaison between Operations, client management, and client for internal and external project representation.
•Manage issues and provides resolution.
•Provide responsive feedback to clients’ (internal and external) needs and inquiries.
•Provide client with action plans and issue resolutions, as appropriate.
•Maintain various status and financial reports for projects. Ensures timely information provided to Aon management and client contacts, as appropriate.
•Manages project communication activities.
•Determine resources needed to meet client expectations. Coordinates the activities to obtain the needed resources. 
•Manage resources effectively.
•Conducts post-project completion reviews to identify areas of continual improvement.
•Leads continuous improvement initiatives as projects progress.
•Ensures accuracy of data and timely, thorough completion of tasks/assignments.

MINIMUM REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE: 4-5 Years

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
•Project Management Program certification, recommended
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Relationship management and customer-focus skills
•Financial management skills
•Ability to think strategically and creatively
•Analytical and problem-solving skills
•Project planning and execution skills
•Experience in specific area of responsibility preferred (Employee Benefit Outsourcing– annual enrollment, employee benefit plans)
•Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and manage changing priorities

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree, or Associates Degree plus 4-5 years experience preferred.
