This position can be located in either NYC or Phili Overview As a Consultant, you will support Reinsurance Administration efforts with achieving client deliverables in multiple areas of expertise and realizing revenue opportunities. You will also actively participate in maintaining the client relationship between clients and Inpoint Services, an Aon Benfield Company. Primary Accountabilities - Provide technical expertise on new or existing consulting engagements.
- Support senior consultants by participating in engagements as directed, analyzing business issues and drafting project deliverables
- Communicate with account teams, clients, sales team, and prospects to provide assistance as needed.
- Support client leads with development of proposal content, Statements of Work and pricing of engagements to support sales and new business opportunities.
- May participate in discussions around project plans, work orders, and presentations to clients
- Analyze financial information of prospects and clients that contribute to the sales or operational process
- Maintain files related to account transactions, time allocations, etc.
Qualifications - Related Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Approximately 3-5 years of experience in insurance/reinsurance or related industry with diverse background in related disciplines such as reinsurance, claims, operations, process improvements and workflow efficiencies, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent listening skills
- Team player with demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments, thrive in a fast paced environment and function with minimal direction
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite of products
- Ability to travel as needed
- Previous consulting experience a plus
