The ITRM Risk Evaluation Lead will provide oversight for the ITRM Risk Evaluation function. Their main objective is to evaluate IT risk across the Firm IT Risk and provide senior management with a perspective towards the aggregated IT risk profile for the Firm. This will include, but will not be limited to, IT SOX, PCI, TPO and GLBA. The role will have a Global core team that will support in the activities of risk evaluation. This team will work closely with the ITRM Governance team providing opinion and context to IT Risk Metrics and executive summaries. The Risk Evaluation Team will assist the Firm in identifying, assessing, and enabling technologist to manage cross-Firm technology risks for both new and existing technology. In addition the ITRM Risk Evaluation Lead will contribute to the establishment of a control technology vision and roadmap that aligns with the business needs of the Firm while participating in IT risk governance forums. The ideal candidate is an experienced Risk Management professional with a solid foundation in Technology Risk Assessment, Risk Remediation, Technical Controls Implementation and Technology Audit. As a member of ITRM the candidate will be expected to: ·Support the ITRM Lead in the development and implementation of the ITRM Risk Management Strategy. ·Be prepared to travel domestically and internationally ·Perform risk assessments, risk remediation, and specific targeted risk projects as they arise. Essential functions of this role are: Partnership A fundamental requirement within the Risk Management Function is the ability to operate as a team and in partnership. ·The incumbent must be able to partner across the technology and business teams to maximize the quality, integration and effectiveness of the risk management coverage. This requires a very proactive, open and communicative approach through all aspects of planning and execution, · Such partnership is also expected in dealing with the other LOB risk managers as we share common goals of providing a well-controlled operating environment to maximize value to our shareholders. Communication ·The individual is expected to be able to communicate concisely and effectively with all levels of the organization. ·The ability to communicate effectively with technologist and business personnel is critical, including the usage of business relevant terms to describe technology risks. ·Experienced Information Technology professional with a proven Financial Services track record of more than 10 years in Technology Risk Management, IT audit, technology operations and risk based projects. ·Strong Practical knowledge of development lifecycles, as well as, project and program management concepts and controls. ·Solid Technology background with specific experience in: ·Technical Risk Assessment and Control Validation ·Identity Management ·Application Security ·Network Security ·Security Event Monitoring ·Attack and Penetration Work ·Encryption Technologies ·Anti Virus ·Data Leakage Prevention ·Patch and Vulnerability Management ·Incident Response ·Enthusiastic, effective communicator thrives under pressure and willing to take personal responsibility and accountability. ·Extensive communication skills and experience in driving process improvement. ·Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities ·Excellent written and oral presentation skills with the ability to create and define metrics that accurately reflects the current state of a given environment. ·Solid knowledge of Industry Best Practices and IT Risk Regulatory Landscape ·Sound infrastructure knowledge of current and legacy technology including: Virtualization, Grid Computing, Cloud computing, Mainframe, Distributed Computing, Networking, Messaging, Database Management. ·Strong knowledge of SOX, GLBA, PCI, and Third Party Service Providers risk evaluation process.
